Research In Motion’s BlackBerry PlayBook tablet will get video-chat functionality with the PlayBook’s front- and rear-facing cameras, it may come as no surprise that the tablet will support video calls. But until now, it was unknown whether or not the functionality would be an in-house RIM production, or be provided by a third party source (Skype).
The Video chat feature is more intended similar to Apple’s FaceTime app which available on iPhone 4, iPad 2 and Mac Computers.
FaceTime is one feature that most heralded Apple iPhone 4, which is a video chat application. Now RIM app Playbook challenge FaceTime in his own.
RIM reperted to launch Playbook on April 10, and doesn’t seem that Blackberry smartphone devices will have video-call feature with front camera.
Playbook comes with Cortex-A9 dual-core processor capable, and 1 GB of RAM. A Wi-Fi-only model smaller than .1-inch Motorola Xoom or the 9.7-inch iPad 2. RIM said to have separate model Wi-Fi-only, Wi-Fi + WiMax, Wi-Fi + LTE, and Wi-Fi + HSPA+
Playbook has another features with compete to iPad 2 is digital music store which is provided by RIM partner 7 digital. The music store has around 13 million songs available. 7 digital download has no restriction, easily transfer between devices.
The tablet will become a very important product for the rim. The company has really pulled back a little more customers begin to erode. Though still remains the number 1 smartphone platform in the United States (U.S.), but their market down so quickly.
